Here’s 7 ways you can use it to its full potential….
1. WRITING ABOUT YOUR TROUBLES CAN MAKE THEM SEEM MANAGEABLE
When there’s so much going in your head, it can be hard to pin down your worries and make sense of them. This leads to additional stress, and it soon becomes another problem for you to grapple with. If you’re struggling with your feelings, writing it all down can help you make sense of them. If you can get it down on paper, it can help you see where the problems are stemming from, and find a solution.
2. SEE THINGS FROM SOMEONE ELSE’S POINT OF VIEW
As a writer, you don’t always have to approach things from your own perspective. A very helpful exercise is to look at a situation from the perspective of someone else involved. What are they feeling? What affects them? It’s amazing how much more understanding you can be when you do this.

4. PEN AND PAPER CAN FORCE YOU TO SLOW DOWN
When writing about your thoughts, a good way to do it is to use a pen and paper. Firstly, buying a nice journal and pen gives you a space that’s just for your innermost thoughts. As well as this, you can really sit and take your time with writing. If you type, you can write faster than your thoughts. Handwriting makes you slow down and really think about what you’re saying.
