“Life is beautiful and full of colours” is another aspect of the scenario.

So what is your take on it, does life really suck or do you find it beautiful? Well, all the powers are in your hands, yes, I said it, “in your hands.”

Now you must be thinking how? The answer is you have to shift the pattern of your thinking a little bit and start acting. If at times you feel bored and wonder what to do or at times you compare yourself with others. If you start thinking that another person is living a better life than you, then you probably need to think some things over.

It all starts with little efforts, you don’t have to make a big changes. Small actions can change your life drastically.

Here are the 10 things that you can do to get rid of boredom and make your life beautiful.

1. CHANGE YOUR THINKING PATTERN:

The first and most important thing is to change your thinking pattern. Stop comparing yourself with others. Know that every individual has a unique ability and has come alone and they will go alone from this world. We all are travellers in this world and we have to travel our journey alone. Anyone can walk along with you but no one can walk for you. You alone have to complete your journey. Why not put in your unique ability to produce something unique for this world. It’s your choice to go for a happy one or one filled with boredom and dissatisfaction. The choice is completely yours.

2. CHANGE YOUR HABITS A LITTLE:

Small changes can make a big difference. Give up all your bad habits that you feel have a negative impact on you. Think about where you can better yourself, what would make you happier?.

The one thing that I liked and follow the most is, “If It’s a one minute task, Do it now. Don’t postpone it.”. While implementing this thought in your daily routines you can find a big difference in your life. You will find enough time to concentrate on the works which you really want to do or which are your priorities.

3. ENGAGE IN AN ACTIVITY:

Don’t waste your time always doing the same thing, watching TV, playing video games or just scrolling through social media can be great but find something new and interesting to try now and again. Engage in some new activity, learn a new language or join some nearby good social cause and donate your spare time for it. Learn gardening, cooking or any other activity you wish. Keep yourself motivated and learn something new. Make learning your habit.

4. SPEND TIME WITH NATURE:

Spend some time with nature. Take care of your body. Good health is the best treasure you can have. Take some time out to go for a walk, some exercise, yoga or meditation, or simply sit in the open. This will relax and charge your mind.

5. BE CONTENT AND TRY YOUR BEST:

Know that things will come to you on required time. Don’t panic to acquire everything right now. Whatever comes your way, accept gracefully, be satisfied and try your best to mould the things your way and get your dreams fulfilled.

6. ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH GOOD AND POSITIVE COMPANY:

Associate yourself with good and positive people. Detach yourself with all the negative energy and people. You alone have to choose what is good for you. Even if you find someone close to you or a family member with a negative mindset, you choose to be positive and don’t get drawn in to that person’s thinking. It’s their journey and not yours. You make your journey positive.

7. START A PROJECT:

Start a new project. Make a vision for your dream and start working for it. You may start a campaign, or you may start a side business, you may start a website or you may join some social activity groups. Whatever interests you, go for it.

8. AVOID TALKING ABOUT OTHERS

It’s none of your business. Let them do what they want and you do what’s good for you. Never compare yourself with others and never be bogged out with what they think of you. They only know a part of you, and nobody has time to think about others. Don’t let others decide your happiness and take decisions for you. They can assist but you must make the final decision.

9. WORK ON YOUR HOBBIES:

Hobbies make us more creative. They push up our hidden talents and suddenly an idea pops up in our mind which we can call a Eureka moment to work on to fulfil our dreams.

10. SPEND TIME CHATTING WITH AN OLD FRIEND OR A LOVED ONE:

Sometimes, take time out doing nothing and just relax. Chit chat with your loved ones. Listen to your favourite music or go for a movie or a drive. Keep your mind away from everything but to only what you are doing at the moment.

Keeping yourself busy with new things of learning and making only a small change in your daily habits can make a huge difference to your life. Changing a little of your thinking can lead you to a beautiful life. The choice is all yours.
